3D Printing 3D printing has definitely boosted our creativity options in the education world. Making 3D models involves using new tools or products to create something by using thoughts and problem solving. It can also be used for groupwork or projects. In certain subjects such as art, theatre, science, or math you can use the printer to help create their assignments. This kind of technology is incredible it is now making it possible for almost anyone to bring their inventions to live. Like Anthony Atala who is trying to make it possible for us to print off new body parts in our hospitals. I can't even imagine how crazy that would be people would no longer have to wait for a transplant. They also use it to make things or characters in movies and television shows. It can help teachers improve lesson plans and can increase student engagement and helps students build essential skills.
Khan Academy I chose to watch a video over Personality Disorders. It talks about how many types there are and what each one is and really goes into deep description of each one. I think the video did a very good job teaching the lesson it gives good details and draws up an overview of the descriptions. I think I learned effectively from this video and it did good at being clear of the topic and instructed the subject well. I truly enjoyed the clip and think that it would be very useful for students. it gives opportunities to re-watch and pause for notes. As an Educator I would use this resource to flip the classroom and support a more self paced learning style. This way students can get the best out of their lectures and lessons and have more opportunities to ask me questions during class.

Teachers constantly need to keep up with the new technology in order to be fully prepared to teach our future generations. Do lots of schools send their teachers to seminars to keep them updated? Google Classroom Google Classroom has lots of cool useful features. You can create your own assignment or quiz and share videos or PDFs. You can also give direct feedback and grade whenever necessary and the students can see their grades right away. One thing that is difficult to find is how to edit post which can be a hassel. As a teacher this can be very fun and east way to connect with your students. It allows the teacher to make unique assignments and share any videos to help with lessons. It is especially good for schools who hand out Chromebooks or iPads so the students can access easily and interact with the assignments. As a student Google Classroom is easy to access with your school email. It gives students less of a chance to forget their homework at home or at the school. Technology Changing The World Is Technology Used in Every Aspect of Our Lives? Technology over the years has taken over a lot of physical activity time. Children rather play on a device then go ride bikes or go to the park with friends. This is scary to think that children don't really want or even need to go outside. Are children becoming addicted to screen time. When it comes family gatherings such as sitting at the table for dinner children still don't put down their devices. This takes away from family, in person communication, and present moment awareness which are all important. Having a device that can shut off the technology so that our children are still realizing there is a world outside the device that wants and needs them would be good for them.
